Reviews
This place has an absolutely ginormous menu of options and typically that would make me take a pause on how good it might actually be. But everything I tried and everything my friends ordered looked and tasted delicious!
I got the spring rolls as well as their Chicken Pad Thai, and both of them were quite delicious and well portioned. The peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls tasted fresh and really helped the flavor pop.
Definitely looking forward to a return visit just to try many more things on the menu.
The food is immaculate and very authentic! The vibe and atmosphere are not the most aesthetic or “cute,” but like most “hole-in-the-wall” places like this, the quality can really be seen in the food. It was very flavorful and exactly what I was hoping for when I thought of Vietnamese food for dinner. I got 2 dishes for takeout and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!
Went for Pho and wasn't disappointed! Also enjoyed a spring roll with peanut sauce. Restaurant was clean and warm some age to it and stairs to upstairs need reworked with carpet or something. Service was good and prices were normal for comparable food. Taste was excellent. Happy guy here. I'll be back!
Randomly found this place for lunch yesterday and overall it was good!! The surrounding area doesn’t seem too great, but we found street parking in front.
Food was pretty delicious. For appetizers, would recommend the Cha Gio (fried egg rolls), Goi Cuon (spring rolls) and the Chao Tom Dac San Cua Dollar (ground shrimp & pork with crab). My friends had the Pho Bowls and enjoyed it. We ordered Banh Mi Thit Nuong (sandwiches) to-go and they were good. They have a pretty wide variety of food options here!
The restaurant is small, and service was a bit slow since there was only one server. But food definitely made up for it.
The food bussin frfr. Will definitely come back when it gets colder because it’s a good comfort food.
Pho Dollar left much to be desired. The broth lacked depth and tasted overly salty, overshadowing any subtle flavors. The meat portions were disappointingly sparse, and the noodles were overcooked, resulting in a mushy texture. The service was subpar, with staff appearing disinterested and inattentive. Additionally, the ambiance was lacking, creating an overall underwhelming dining experience. Overall, I would not recommend Pho Dollar for an authentic or satisfying pho experience. The service at Pho Dollar fell short of expectations. The staff seemed indifferent, making the dining experience less enjoyable. Requests were met with delays, and overall attentiveness was lacking. Improvement in customer service would significantly enhance the overall impression of the restaurant. Pho Dollar left much to be desired. First time visit on Mother's Day and I am glad I was not disappointed! Large portions, very organic and above all, TASTY! Customer service was very friendly.
The takeout from here is fantastic. The ingredients have a bright and fresh flavor. Colors are vibrant and portions are filling. As always with takeout, be careful with keeping the container flat so sauces do not drip out. They use a lot of sauce for their salads and mine spilled everywhere.
